3RD Annual RecFest – Postponed until 2023

Hurricane Fiona is forecast to have a significant impact on Nova Scotia late this week. We have made the difficult decision to postpone RecFest until 2023 as there is a reasonable expectation that this weather event will prevent us from safely moving forward with this outdoor event at this time.

We greatly appreciate the support the event has received from the community, and we would like to thank all of the donors, volunteers, and entertainers who were willing to sacrifice their time and resources to make RecFest happen for this upcoming weekend. We invite you all to stay involved and help us make the event a success when we confirm the new date.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this has caused our ticket holders, or for those who made arrangements to attend. Tickets purchased in 2022 will be honored for RecFest in 2023, and all tickets can be refunded by contacting info@realcanadianrecreation.com.

We appreciate your understanding, and we will see you at the rescheduled event in 2023 to honor Tyson Bowen and support Real Canadian Recreation.

Our Mission

This not for profit society will be an outdoor eco-adventure park and resort catered to help heal our Canadian Veterans, but will also be open to the general public in future phases.

The venue will have a series of progressive outdoor trails and areas to hike, bike and drive off road vehicles. It will also be host to different types of campsites and events throughout all seasons of the year focused on Veterans and their families mental health.
